Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles
A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – We all know that parents and one’s peer group shape the formation of moral values and faith at an early age. However, when one becomes a young adult and beyond, often the opinions of others, both within and outside of the faith community, have a diminishing impact. The desire for support from a higher power often returns when we are confronted with trauma or grief in ways we are not equipped to handle on our own. We look for a source of power that is beyond ourselves. The vacuum that God places in the heart of each of us, is what attracts us to draw strength from Him. As Christians desiring to share the Good News, we need to be ready and able to help others find Christ in the midst of grief.
