Be Cautious When You Rely on Biblical Teachers

Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Preachers, Sunday School teachers, lay leaders, Deacons an Elders all happen to be humans, subject to the same frailties we all have as we try to navigate through this sin cursed world. Reliance on others to be an intermediary between us and God does does not always strengthen our spiritual muscles. At times it makes us lazy and, at other time it can do serious damage to our personal relationship with God.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 Timothy 4:3- For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
