Christian hypocrisy does irreparable damage to fellowship and evangelism.

Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Hypocrisy is found in the Christian when we focus on the speck in the eye of others, while ignoring the log in our own eye.

Matthew 7:5 – You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

One of the biggest roadblocks to Christian evangelism is hypocrisy, both real and imagined on the part of unbelievers. Between Christians, it splits churches, families, friends and neighbors. We need to show love and compassion before we press our theology on others, especially the lost. So many who do not know Christ see Christians as hypocritical since we continue to demonstrate our own sins while calling out the sins of others. Honesty, candor, and humility must form the basis of Biblical Christian evangelism.
