A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I wonder sometimes if the reason Biblical Christians do not wish to die sooner (away from the body, at home with the Lord) is a lack of faith, or if it is a desire to serve while we can on this sad old earth. Based on our sin nature, I tend to believe the former (faith…. as small as a mustard seed) rather than the latter. Or… perhaps, like the vacuum He puts in people’s hearts that can only be filled by Him, He also puts a desire for earthly life in us that supplants what we know to be a better place of unimaginable peace.
