Christians claim to believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior but do they believe in the written word of God? We often find Christians living like everyone else and not standing on the truth. If we believe in Jesus Christ we also have to believe in the word because Jesus Christ is the word.
Stand on faith and believe what the word of God tells you. By believing and trusting in the word of God we live our best lives. We live our most powerful, peaceful, enriching lives by taking the word of God as the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help us God. The Holy Bible is the blueprint God gave to us as His creation.
When we are in trouble, facing persecution, feeling depressed, lacking motivation and purpose, lonely, seeking knowledge, discontent, and every other manner in which we find ourselves the Holy Bible is the complete book from God to lead us into His arms by living perfectly in His will.
Living in the good and pleasing will of God gives abundant authority, peace, happiness, self-fulfillment, and love; but it is a Christian’s choice on whether they choose to live in that or not. It is a daily practice to remember what God has done for you and how special you are to Him.
God’s promises really start working and lighting up in our lives with flames of healing and protection when we start putting our total trust in His promises. When we trust in God’s promises we are saying we trust Jesus Christ Himself and that is the requirement for being in God’s cultivated tree of life. (Romans 11:22–23)
Trust is not just choosing to believe but requires action by living it. When you work the word the word works for you. The sound that comes out of an instrument happens only after the one playing it brings forth wind or physical contact to create the sound. In the same way the promises of God rain down like a flood when we produce faith, which has the power to move mountains.
Put your faith to work and experience all that God has for you, because it is substantial. Don’t miss out because of your lacking faith but get excited for who God is and abide in His presence. Amen!
Peace be unto you,
Donald
