“Fox News and Dominion reach last-minute $787 million settlement”…
“Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems have agreed to a blockbuster settlement over the network’s coverage of former President Trump’s false claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
The settlement comes after months of courtroom fighting between the two parties, in what had been widely seen as a precedent-setting moment for defamation law that could severely alter the financial and reputational health of the country’s largest cable news company.

“In the aftermath of an uproar over Anheuser-Busch’s use of transgender model Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light beer, a majority of Americans favor boycotting the brand.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 40% of American Adults say Anheuser-Busch’s transgender promotion makes them less likely to purchase Bud Light, while 19% say the Mulvaney promotion makes them more likely to buy Bud Light and 37% say it doesn’t make much difference to their beer-buying plans. “Americans who read the Bible have ‘far more hope’ than those who don’t: survey”
“Those who read the Bible have “far more hope” than those who don’t, according to a recent survey released as the number of Americans who prioritize Bible reading continues to decline.
The first chapter of American Bible Society’s 2023 “State of the Bible” report, released earlier this month, analyzed responses to a series of questions that measure an individual’s level of hope. The survey polled 2,761 adults across the 50 states from Jan. 5-30. The questions asked respondents to rank their level of agreement with statements describing their feelings “when an outcome I desire seems unlikely or even impossible.”
