Daily Headlines on contemporary issues that run counter to a Biblical Christian worldview.

Elon Musk: ‘I’m OK with going to Hell’… When one of his now 122 million followers responded that Musk should consider whether there is a “creator of this world” prior to his death, Musk fired back, “Thank you for the blessing, but I’m ok with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there.” – Christian Post

Israel’s Christian Population Is Growing, New Data Shows… The number of Christians in the Holy Land has grown slightly, according to new data released on Christmas Day… The report, published by the Central Bureau of Statistics, found Israel’s Christian population grew by about 2% in 2021, the most recent year for which data is available. Christians now make up 1.9% of the population of the Jewish state.” – CBN News

Rachel Levine ripped for demanding censorship of ‘misinformation’ on ‘gender-affirming care’ for kids… Twitter users called the Biden HHS official’s remarks ‘evil’ and an example of ‘fascism’… Levine, a transgender woman, made the statements in May, though the video gained newfound attention on Twitter just after Christmas. Prominent Twitter users expressed horror that a government official was asking tech companies to censor content disputing that gender-affirming care for youth is a thing of “positive value.” – Fox News

Abortion roiled the midterms. Now it will define the presidential race... The same groups that helped put Trump in office in 2016 are now keeping him at arm’s length, illustrating how the Supreme Court’s June ruling erasing federal abortion rights has created a new litmus test in Republican presidential politics. No longer is it sufficient for a candidate to identify as “pro-life,” promise to defund Planned Parenthood or even to provide — as Trump did — a list of potential Supreme Court nominees who would vote to curtail abortion rights… Anti-abortion advocates are insisting on more in a post-Roe era — namely, a hard commitment to back a federal abortion ban — and they’re holding out until they get it.” – Politico
