In necessary things, unity; in doubtful things, liberty; in all things, charity.

Quick Quote – Source – Richard Baxter adapted from Rupertus Meldenius

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – The most necessary things in a lifetime spanning a few decades is the decision to spend eternity with/or without God. The unity of that monumental decision from a Biblical Christian Worldview perspective can be summarized in the book of Romans.

Romans 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 – but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9 – because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Beyond the essentials, for which God demands unity, there can remain lively debate on broader Christian theology. However one views the importance of their unique viewpoint, it should be expressed and reasoned from a position of liberty and charity.
