It’s discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit.

Quick Quote – Source – Noel Coward

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – There are so few public figures today who speak from their heart without an agenda. Gallup completes a yearly poll of trust in government. Only 11% of those polled have a “great deal” of trust and confidence in our political leaders. Further, from Gallup, only 7% of Americans have a “great deal of trust” in the media. So, if we believe our leaders and those who report their actions as untrustworthy, it is no wonder that we are much more shocked by honesty than deceit.

Romans 16:18 – For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
