Longer life is not the highest goal in life.

What should our priorities be while we live in these mortal bodies?

Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Some live for a short time, some for a long time. Some of us live a largely pain-free life and others, sadly, live in constant pain and suffering. Some have an abundance of resources at their command and others barely have the shirt on their back.

Though arguably important during our life, in death, none of the above matters. In fact, because God’s ways are above our ways (Isaiah 55:8), often those with less on earth will gain more in the beyond (James 2:5).

If one truly believes a personal relationship with Jesus and, subsequently, serving God is more important than longevity in life… it should make a profound difference in our day-to-day priorities.
