Meekness is defined as power under control.

Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Brown

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Webster defines meekness as, “a mild, moderate, humble, or submissive quality”. God defines meekness as,

Matthew 5:5 – “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Titus 3:2 – to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

James 3:13 – Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.

Those who are “blessed”, “wise”, and avoid “quarreling” truly represent “power under control”. Meekness may not be seen by many as a positive attribute, however, God’s ways are above our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
