This was the first march since the high court struck the law down last June. “We really see this March for Life as one of the most significant yet. Yes, we are in a post-Roe world, but we’re really in a new world…What the Supreme Court did in June was they gave this issue to the people and their elected representatives,” Jamie Dangers, legislative director at the Susan B. “Pope Francis says homosexuality is not a crime… “Being homosexual isn’t a crime.” With these words spoken during an exclusive interview with the Associated Press (AP), Pope Francis made headlines this week… According to AP, the pope “criticized laws that criminalize homosexuality as ‘unjust,’ saying God loves all his children just as they are.” He then “called on Catholic bishops who support the law to welcome LGBTQ people into the church.” The article added: “Francis acknowledged that Catholic bishops in some parts of the world support laws that criminalize homosexuality or discriminate against LGBTQ people” and “attributed such attitudes to cultural backgrounds.” – The Denison Forum
“DOJ indicts two people for targeting pregnancy centers… A federal grand jury recently indicted two Florida residents for spray-painting threats on pregnancy centers, the Department of Justice said Tuesday. Caleb Freestone, 27, and Amber Smith-Stewart, 23, conspired to keep center employees from providing reproductive health services, according to the indictment. They allegedly spray painted threats like “If abortions aren’t safe then neither are you,” “YOUR TIME IS UP,” and “WE’RE COMING FOR U” on several pregnancy centers in Florida” – World
