Daily Headlines on contemporary issues that run counter to a Biblical Christian worldview.

UK censors Demi Lovato posters for causing “serious offense to Christians.”… The poster, promoting Lovato’s upcoming album “Holy Fvck,” features the singer scantily clad and bound in BDSM gear upon a crucifix-shaped bed. Just four days after the posters appeared at six different sites around London, four people filed complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), the UK’s self-regulatory organization overseeing the advertising industry. The complaints alleged that the posters were “likely to cause serious or widespread offense” and were “irresponsibly placed” where children could see, CNN reported.” – LGBTQ Nation

What Every Christian Needs to Know about Anti-Semitism… Did you know that assaults, harassment, and vandalism against Jews take place in the United States seven times a day? Are you aware that lies and distortions about religious Jews and their educational institutions are being published in prestigious news publications, including The New York Times? Have you heard that Jews are targeted for more hate crimes in the U.S. than any other group?” – Washington Stand

‘The Last Of Us’ REVIEW: The Apocalypse Like You’ve Never Seen It Before… HBO’s “The Last Of Us” premiered Sunday night, and it’s arguably the best piece of dystopian fiction ever created. From the opening scene, “The Last Of Us” is a subtle yet powerful television show. The writers throw the viewer into a fairly typical apocalyptic set-up, where scientists are ridiculed for their warnings, and a normal family goes about their average day in early 2000s Texas as the tension builds, nerve over nerve. – Daily Caller

Multiple women sue Christian organization for alleged abuse, coverup: ‘A source of anxiety and depression’… Five women in California have filed a lawsuit alleging that a nondenominational Christian organization covered up instances of child sexual abuse and exerted financial pressure on members to the extent that some took their own lives. The women allege that the International Churches of Christ (ICOC) and affiliated organizations — which include Hope Worldwide, Mercy Worldwide, the International Christian Church and the City of Angels International Christian Church — “indoctrinated” them and isolated them while exploiting them sexually and manipulating them through a strict belief system, according to Rolling Stone. – Fox News

Public Schools Are Steadily Losing Students as Homeschooling Skyrockets… While the number of homeschoolers has doubled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, public school systems across the U.S. are rapidly losing students. According to data released last spring by the National Center for Education Statistics, public schools lost more than one million students from the fall of 2019 to the fall of 2020. In other words, enrollment fell from 50.8 million to 49.4 million. – CBN News
