Obergfell Trounced in Ohio Race… A rainbow wave — that’s what the LGBTQ Victory Fund is calling the mid-term elections, touting that a record number of LGBTQ candidates won their races (400 or so this year as opposed to 334 in 2020). Even so, many incumbents who refused to back down in the face of LGBTQ activism were able to keep their seats. So it really wasn’t a rainbow wave anymore than it was a red wave for Republicans.”
Same-Sex Marriage – The Washington Stand – “Ohio Voters Reject Same-Sex Marriage Pioneer in a Landslide…The lame duck session of Congress appears poised to take up the “Respect for Marriage” Act, which would legally redefine marriage nationwide. Outgoing Ohio Senator Rob Portman supports the bill.”
Bible Verse Complaint – Fox News – “An instructional assistant at a Florida high school has reportedly complained about her coworker’s parking space that quotes a verse from the New Testament, saying it offends her as Jewish person… Marina Gentilesco, who works at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Pasco County, Florida, said she has been angered every day she passed by her coworker’s parking lot that is painted with Philippians 4:13, which reads, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me,” according to local Fox affiliate Fox 59.
Aliens Destroying Themselves – Huffington Post – “NASA Scientists Present Theory About Why We Haven’t Met Other Intelligent Life. It’s Crushing… All intelligent life, they argue, has likely destroyed itself before reaching a sophisticated enough point in evolution to support such an encounter. And the same fate likely awaits humans unless we take action, they believe.”
