A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Evolution, Biblical inerrancy, Right to Life, Complementarianism, God’s judgements, Heaven/Hell, a bad church experience and all the other issues that surface in those who decide to deconstruct their faith are often not triggers that force a rejection from a Biblical Christian Worldview. Often people slowly decide to follow the crowd and simply do what they want to do rather than what God wants them to do. As all the influencers of the Christian life depart (a church family, reading the Bible, prayer, etc), one turns around one day and realizes they are no longer a “Christian”. For some, that is where it ends. For others, they validate their new found position by railing against the church and all that is attached to it, deciding to be lone-ranger Christians.
Sadly, this loss of faith is so often a sign of a lost soul.
James 2:26 – For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
John 14:15 – “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
