A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – My wife and I have been forced to attend church remotely for the past few months. During that time we tuned into the web-based broadcasts of our home church and a local church we have been affiliated with, without fail. Further, my wife had a Bible study and attended adult Sunday School remotely over the same timeframe. Today we returned to physical attendance at our home church and their Sunday morning service.
From my personal experience (40 years as a Christian) I can attest to the fact that nothing compares to physically attending a good Biblical Christian church. The fellowship, accountability, and teachings in a face-to-face environment with other believers is not something that can be duplicated, regardless of the number of hours of online “worship” one chooses to view. Passive praise from an audio/video device is not what God intended when He said,
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
