Prayer is part of what Jesus died for.

Quick Quote – Source – Jarrod Scott

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Christ died so that we could have fellowship with the Father while on this earth in anticipation of eternity in Heaven with Him, face-to-face (1 Cor. 13:12). Without that forgiveness we would have no relationship with God and, without a relationship, have little knowledge or fellowship with Him. Prayer is one of the greatest mechanisms for communication with our Creator and Sustainer. Jesus died so that we could experience the hope, faith, and presence of God in and through the Holy Spirit as we pray.
