Prayer is the heart cry of someone in need.

Quick Quote – Source – E. M. Bounds

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Often we commit to prayer when all our own efforts have failed to be successful. We pray out of desperation, knowing events are out of our control. However, we need to recognize that God desires our prayers, not only for the times we are “in need”, but the times in between as well. He desires that our prayers are not limited to petitions for our own needs and even the needs of others. Our prayers should come from a desire for a relationship with Him, not only a solution to the problems of the moment.
