Michigan Abortion Referendum – Politco – “Michigan abortion-rights battle rakes in cash ahead of referendum… If the measure passes, language will be added to the state’s constitution guaranteeing the right to abortion as well as contraception and other reproductive health services… Roughly $57 million poured into Michigan’s high stakes contest for abortion rights during the last quarter, more money than the races for governor, attorney general and secretary of state combined.
Tech & Washington – The Washington Stand – “Senator: Big Tech Collusion ‘One of the Most Frightening Things That’s Happened under Biden’… After Elon Musk fired Vijaya Gadde, the former head of legal, public policy, and trust at Twitter, news broke that the company alongside Facebook had regular discussions with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) about the kinds of topics they wished to censor on their platforms. Flag-worthy stories ranged from U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan to COVID-19 and racial justice, according to a Breitbart report. “Years of internal DHS memos, emails, and documents” were first obtained by The Intercept, an independent investigative news outlet, confirming the DHS’s “expansive effort” to “influence tech platforms””.
Witches – CBN News – “WitchTok Booms to 30B Views on TikTok, Ex-Witch Warns Preschool Witchcraft Targeting Kids… Videos with the hashtag #WitchTok have amassed more than 30 billion views and have made it easier for would-be witches or those interested in the occult to learn more about it, according to the BBC… The app, which is geared towards tweens and teens, makes them easy targets of predators, can affect their mental health, and can open them up to consume inappropriate content. And while parents and lawmakers push for more safety protections, there is a growing community that wants to introduce children to witches.”
Pro-Life Center Violence – The Washington Stand – “Pro-Life Centers 22 Times More Likely to Be Attacked than Abortion Facilities: Study… Vandals and domestic terrorists attacked pro-life churches and pregnancy resource centers 135 times between May 3, when a still-unknown party leaked the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling, and September 24. Researchers verified six attacks on abortion facilities during the same period. “The bottom line is that after the Dobbs decision was leaked, there was over 22 times more violence directed against pro-life groups than pro-choice organizations,” said the study, performed by the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC).”
