Daily Headlines on contemporary issues that run counter to a Biblical Christian worldview.

| Gender Clothing | LGBT Persecution | Amy Barrett | Trans Jesus |

Gender Neutral Clothing – FoxBusiness – “Clothing brands’ push for gender inclusive clothing ripped as ‘marketing ploy,’ ‘confusing to children’…Fashion labels marketing “genderless,” “gender neutral” or “gender inclusive” clothing is championed by proponents as a groundbreaking movement that challenges the traditional gender stereotypes, but critics of the trendy category argue the industry is marketing off a social contagion, and could be doing irreparable harm, specifically to minors.”

LGBT Persecution – NBC News – “Being LGBTQ in Colorado Springs wasn’t always easy. Now, some feel more exposed than ever... As a queer woman who has lived for 12 years in this city known for its evangelical Christian and conservative roots, April Slawson has been the subject of unflattering looks and comments at work and is always cautious around strangers. Last week, she finally told friends that she felt “comfortable” here. Then just days later, a suspect entered the city’s sole LGBTQ dance clubkilling five people and injuring 19 others.

Amy Barrett – The Guardian – “Amy Coney Barrett urged to step away from gay rights case because of faith affiliation… Former members of Amy Coney Barrett’s secretive faith group, the People of Praise, are calling on the US supreme court justice to recuse herself from an upcoming case involving gay rights, saying Barrett’s continued affiliation with the Christian group means she has participated in discriminatory policies against LGBTQ+ people.”

Trans Jesus Sermon – FoxNews – “Cambridge dean defends sermon about Jesus’ ‘trans body,’ ‘vaginal’ side wound blasted as ‘heresy’… Sermon likening wound in Jesus’ side to a vagina left congregants ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘in tears’…Heath, whose doctorate in theology was supervised by former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, also claimed that in one of the medieval paintings he displayed to the congregation, the spear wound in Jesus’ side “takes on a decidedly vaginal appearance.” In another, he pointed out how the blood from his side flows to his groin.”
