A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – At 70 and a saved Christian since 1984, I have come a long way over the years in my perspective on what is important and what is not. I suppose the divisive climate in America has had a lot to do with forcing me to objectively view matters of faith against the backdrop of our changing culture. Sin is sin, which has not changed since God wrote the definition of this human malady thousands of years ago. However, poking at the speck in the eyes of others for their divergence from Scripture does not serve to promote the gospel (Matt. 7:3-5). As Christians, our testimony depends on our ability to look past secondary issues of theology, unless directly confronted. We do need to stand on God’s word, but not proactively beat people over the head with it.
