Marriage Act – The Washington Stand – “Senate Advances Bogus Religious Freedom ‘Fix’ to Radical Same-Sex Marriage Bill…In a blow to religious freedom, the U.S. Senate voted to overcome a Republican filibuster against an amendment to the so-called “Respect for Marriage” Act, clearing the way for the passage of a bill that critics say is “dangerous,” “deceptive,” and “harmful” to Christian businesspeople and nonprofits soon to face legal harassment.”
Iran Freedoms – World – “More than 300 Iranians killed in protests, general says… Amir Ali Hajizadeh, a general in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, told an Iranian website close to the Guard that more than 300 people have been killed since protests started two months ago. Protests started in Iran after the Sept. 22 death of Mahsa Amini while she was in police custody for allegedly wearing her head scarf incorrectly. Police said she died of a heart attack, while many protestors believe police beat her to death. This is Iran’s first official word on casualties in two months, and the country refuses to cooperate with a fact-finding probe from the United Nations.
Non-binary Gov. – FoxNews – “Non-binary Biden nuclear official charged with stealing woman’s luggage at airport… Brinton — who serves as the DOE’s deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition — allegedly took a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) on Sept. 16, according to a criminal complaint filed on Oct. 26 in Minnesota state court and obtained by Fox News Digital. Brinton had traveled from Washington, D.C., to MSP that day.”
Conservatives Demonic – The Washington Stand – “Teacher’s Union President Calls Conservative Transgender Rhetoric ‘Demonic’… The president of the second largest teacher’s union in the country described conservative arguments against transgender ideology as “demonic” in a recent interview. But experts say that this rhetorical tactic is a way of dismissing unfavored arguments without ever addressing them.”
Balenciaga Bondage – Newsweek – “Balenciaga, Bondage and ‘Child Abuse’ Claims—What We Do Know, What We Don’t… A series of photos with children, one of which featured a toy bear wearing what appears to be bondage gear, was excoriated on Twitter by users who called the ads “disturbing” and claimed the fashion label had quickly deleted this content in response.”
