Daily Headlines on contemporary issues that run counter to a Biblical Christian worldview.

Salesforce Discrimination – The Washington Stand – “CEO to Red States: The Salesforce May Not Be with You?.. The whole concept behind Salesforce is to help companies connect with customers. So it’s more than a little ironic that the CEO behind the effort is intent on driving a political wedge between his own business and half of America. For Marc Benioff, who’s spent years turning Salesforce into a woke social force, it’s no surprise that he’d threaten to yank his company from pro-life states… On Friday, Benioff thrilled his extremist allies when he told CNN’s Poppy Harlow that he’d be willing to walk away from any part of the country that didn’t share his radical abortion views.”

Twitter – “New whistleblower information reveals that the FBI is moving agents off of child sexual abuse investigations to instead pursue political investigations… The whistleblower recounted being told that “child sexual abuse investigations were no longer an FBI priority.””

Fentanyl as Candy – CBS News – “Maryland men charged with trafficking fentanyl disguised as candy – “Trafficking fentanyl is already and undoubtedly a serious offense, but one doesn’t have to stretch their imagination too far to consider how disguising fentanyl pills in children’s candy packaging, as we allege, can result in even more tragic consequences in the community,” said U.S. Attorney Vanessa Roberts Avery. “I thank the DEA Task Force members for their work in this investigation and for taking this substantial quantity of fentanyl off the street.””

Christian Employment Lawsuit – CBN – “WY Mission Sues State, Federal Agencies for Telling Ministry to Hire a Non-Christian to Teach About Jesus… The Wyoming Rescue Mission filed a federal lawsuit last week against state and federal agencies for threatening to punish the Christian nonprofit for hiring employees who share the ministry’s religious beliefs… In 2020, the mission decided not to hire a self-proclaimed non-Christian for one of its Rescued Treasures Thrift Store associate positions. Included with this job is the responsibility of teaching the mission’s Discipleship Recovery Program guests how to spread the gospel and model Jesus Christ… The non-Christian applicant then filed a discrimination charge against the mission after not being selected for the position with Wyoming’s Department of Workforce Services and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), according to Decision Magazine.”
