I just read an article on Medium from a Christian who is “deconstructing” her faith. She complained about how frustrated she is with Christians who argue about being right about everything (Politics, global warming, etc.). I responded as follows:
“We are told to be all things in order to save some, that there are both narrow and wide roads, that we remain sinners after being saved, and we are told the Bible is an instruction manual for life. Sometimes the plank in our eye blinds us from the spec in others. We do need to be reminded that God is love. But we also need to accept that, especially in the last days, persecution for expressing our opinion is part of why God left us on the earth. In the end, He will have the job of a righteous judge, not us.”
